His certifications include Pump Operator, Fire Officer I and II, Hazardous Materials Technician, USAR, Instructor II, Live Fire Instructor I, Fire Inspector I and Fire Investigator I. He was assigned as a Lieutenant on Heavy Rescue 31.
Awarded “Firefighter of the Year” in 1997 and 2011.
Alan Davis is an Instructor and the President of Fire e-Training Institute. He has been in the fire service for fifteen years, starting as a volunteer in Michigan for Ira Township Fire Department. Where he received two awards for a nine-hour ice rescue that appeared on the Discovery Channel’s program, “Storm Warning” in which he successfully assisted in the rescue of a stranded ice fisherman in the dense fog. Alan is now a Lieutenant for the Immokalee Fire Control District far from the ice and snow.
He successfully led FETI through the accreditation process which was awarded by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Alan is also a proud supporter of Firefighters for Christ He loves to learn and will always continue his education and training.
Aaron has been in the fire service for more than 10 years. He currently serves as Fire Marshal within the aviation sector. In this capacity he leads the individuals that are responsible for all fire protection programs and life safety systems throughout the facility. He serves a Principal member on multiple NFPA Technical Committees, and is a member of the International Fire Code Development Committee.
Mr. Douglas entered the fire service 2007 as a distinguished graduate from the Coral Springs Academy. Mr. Douglas was hired by and is currently employed with the City of Fort Myers Fire Department in Lee County, Florida. His certifications include Pump Operator, Fire Officer I, Instructor III, Paramedic, and IAFF/ACE Peer Fitness Trainer. Mr. Douglas holds an A.S. Degree in Emergency Medical Services Technology and B.A.S. in Public Safety Administration from Edison State College.
Prior to Mr. Douglas entering the fire service, he served an illustrious four year tour of duty in the United States Air Force as a Public Health Technician. During his commitment Mr. Douglas was deployed twice, once in support of operations “Desert Fox,” at Prince Sultan Air Base located in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia. And a second time in support of operations “Iraqi Freedom,” at Thumrait Air base is located near Thumrait, Oman.
